Engine Bay Cleaning

Why would I want to clean my engine bay? Engine gets dirty just like any other surfaces. Grease and oil will build up through time. Besides improving the cosmetic appearance of the engine, you are investing in prolonging the quality and the life of your vehicle. We recommend the engine be cleaned when necessary or every 6 months to minimize heavy build-ups of grease, oil, and debris.





Reasons:

A.  A clean engine will run cooler which in turn helps fuel efficiency.

B.  Helps prolong the life of the engine.

C.  Maintain the value of the car which will benefit in sell or trade.

Tools:

•  Heated pressure washer.

• Vacuum

•  Brush

•  Tapes/Coverings

•  Degreasing chemicals.

Cleaning Process:

1.  Dry brush and vacuum.

2.  Prep engine compartment: All parts that could be affected are covered. This cleaning process is to properly protect your engine that could be affected by direct contact with water.

3.  Wet down preparation.

4.  Spray down of engine degreaser.

5.  Inspection for remaining grease and dirt, if necessary a second flush is applied.

6.  Blow dry or dry vac.

7.  Final Inspection

8.  Dressing if requested (optional).
