Leather Clean & Condition
Auto manufacturers have used leather to make the interior of your car feel more comfortable and natural. To preserve the earthy and luxurious look and smell of the leather at its best, invest some time to care for it with the right methods and materials. Like your own, leather is a natural skin that should be cleaned and conditioned as much as you can. It will cost more to repair the leather than to maintain. We recommend the leather seats be cleaned and conditioned every 3-6 months to minimize heavy build-ups. Additional conditioning can protect the leather from the harsh UV rays and extreme temperature or heat.
Reasons
Helps prolong the life of the leather: texture and smell.
Prevents cracking or damages.
Save money from repairment.
Maintain the value of the car which will benefit in sell or trade.
A. Leather Cleaning
Dirt constantly builds up between the grains of the leather. The longer you let the dirt settle, the harder it'll be removed. The quality of the leather skin will gradually be affected. Take good care of it to prevent further damages by removing the harmful debris or substances. Similar situation is bird dropping left on your paint surface. If you leave it there too long the clear coat gets eaten. Likewise, the leather will lose its natural oil and cracks. Our leather cleaner is safe and gentle for leather cleaning without drying it up.
B. Leather Conditioning
Leather conditioning helps maintain the quality of the leather and its luxurious nature by preserving and retaining its elasticity. Leather is always under major stress. When you sit on it, it gets stretched. When under extreme temperature leather tends to shrink or contract. Under heat or direct sunlight the leather dries up. Leather needs conditioning just like how your skin needs lotion or moisturizer when the climate is dry. Our leather conditioner has a sun protection factor (SPF) of 65 that blocks out the sun's harmful burning UV ray while keeping it moisturized and protected by preventing the leather from cracking.
